What is the Baseball Bat Speed and Swing Mechanics Camp?

Our 6-week Baseball Bat Speed & Swing mechanics Camp is designed to enhance your bat speed, improve your hand-eye coordination, and unleash your full potential as a hitter. Led by experienced coaches Eddie Pieczynski, former ISU catcher and Trey Harris, current Washington Nationals prospect, this camp is perfect for players ages 13-17 who are serious about elevating their game.

WINTER BASEBALL “GAME-ON” CAMP (Ages 7-9)

It may be cold out now, but spring baseball is just around the corner...

This camp is designed for youth players age 7-9 who are eager to get a head start on baseball training for the upcoming season. Experienced DTA coaches will teach the fundamentals of hitting, throwing, catching, fielding & speed and agility. The second half of the camp will be game play on DTA’s “Field of Dreams” indoor field. The camp fills up quickly, so don’t let your athlete miss this opportunity.

Session 1: Nov 11 - Dec 16 (Saturdays) 1:30pm - 3:00pm
Session 2: Jan 13 - Feb 10 (Saturdays) 12:00pm - 1:30pm

SOFTBALL SKILLS CAMP (Grades 3-8)

Learn the skills to become a great softball player from our high level coaching staff!

The five week winter softball program is designed to keep players in shape over the winter months and push them to improve their overall skills. The camp will be devoted to offensive and defensive skills. Players will work on proper glove angles, fielding form, throwing fundamentals and footwork. They will learn the correct coverage at bases and develop a high-level understanding of softball defense. The players will learn the fundamentals of hitting, hitting with power, techniques on mastering inside and outside pitches, a positive mental approach, situational hitting and small game skills such as bunting and slapping.

- Grades 3rd - 5th
